Toxicosis

General description

Methcathinone, an addictive drug and psychostimulant, is synthesized from ephedrine. When the product is mixed with potassium permanganate and administered intravenously, it produces symptoms of intoxication. Regular users of intravenous injections develop a characteristic extrapyramidal syndrome.
